Speculation about how well and how healthy the 3 Day Diet has circulated in media outlets and conversations for the better part of 30 years. Experts generally agree that the diet isn’t a long term solution and focuses on encouraging poor eating habits to quickly lose weight. Dieters however seem to be results oriented and find that losing weight is what matters most and not the path it took them to get there. So in my 3 Day Diet Review I am going to discuss a little bit of both. I am going to take the stand of the dieter and the expert and let you decide what you think of the 3 day diet.
The Side of an Expert: A 3 Day Diet Review
Most experts, in my opinion, would agree that the 3 day diet is a terrible way to lose weight. The diet consists of a very strict meal plan that does not emphasize long term healthy eating habits. Instead the diet focuses on strict eating of simple foods that do not add nutrients to your body. Establishing a well balanced meal plan that includes proteins, good for you fats, carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables, and whole grains will provide your body with the fuel it needs to build muscle and burn fat, long term. You will continue to lose weight and maintain it while eating a variety of delicious healthy foods rather than being restricted a small few. The 3 Day Diet also suggests drinking a lot of coffee. Now coffee is a low caloric beverage that isn’t terrible for you, but it is a diuretic. A diuretic is a substance that increases the flow of urine causing the body to get rid of excess water. What does that mean to you? Well simply put you pee more and much of the weight you see being lost during the 3 day diet is water weight, which you will gain back quickly once you return to your normal eating patterns.
Another reason experts don’t agree with the 3 Day Diet is that it does not advocate any type of exercise. Exercise is critical in weight loss. By simply building new muscle you will burn more calories daily forever. Your weight loss will be long term if you add a new pound of muscle and maintain it.
Basically when an expert does a 3 day diet review they look at what value it adds to your life. They are asking will it help you long term, will it make you stronger, will it make you healthier? When it comes to the 3 day diet the answer is definitely no.
The side of Dieters: A 3 Day Diet Review
When was the last time you tried to lose weight: At the beginning of a new year, for a prom dance or wedding, to fit into a new swimsuit? As dieters we are often looking to lose weight quickly and by any means necessary, because we are looking to achieve a short term goal. This is why dieters love the 3 Day Diet. The 3 Day Diet will allow you to achieve that goal. You will lose weight. It will be fast, and when you are done that dress will fit.
However, as dieters we all know that clean eating and exercise is the best way to lose weight. But that takes dedication and foresight. And where we want fast results to meet a goal we overlook what will happen in the future. So I am going to play the ghost of diets future. Are you ready? You will gain back all of the weight you lost on the 3 Day Diet and you will not be any healthier.
My 3 Day Diet Review
Ask most anybody that has completed the 3 day diet and you will find out that you can and will lose weight. It may not be the suggested 10 lbs that they diet claims to shed off of you, but you will lose something. You will be happy and you will go on websites like ours and post your own 3 Day Diet Review of how you needed to lose 10 lbs by the weekend so you would fit into your new shirt and how it worked.
But it is important to try to foresee the future and see that the 3 day diet may get results now, but you will be back on it again soon because you didn’t do yourself or your body any good.
