When it comes to dieting, everyone needs a system to be effective. Luckily, the 3 day diet system is perfect for people that are trying to lose weight in a short period of time, but don’t want to do all the physical activity that comes along with it. But before I go any further, let me just say that all diets are great, but they need to be followed up with rigorous workout schedules if you expect to keep the weight off permanently. This is just the truth.

Purpose of the 3 Day Diet System
Obviously, the purpose of the 3 day diet system is to get you to lose weight in 3 days. It doesn’t take rocket scientist to figure this out. However, this is done by eating certain foods that are suppose to do specific things to your body to get the reactions you need in order to lose weight.
The concept is to get your body to speed up its metabolism rate to burn more calories than usual. This is coupled by the fact that you will not be eating a lot of calories in the first place, so this is suppose to be easier than your typical day to burn fat and lose weight. However, speeding up the metabolism hasn’t been scientifically proven, even though you can find many fitness and diet gurus that tell you it has been. Just be careful when you hear the claims behind many of these diet plans.
In addition to this, the foods that you eat will keep you regularly visiting the bathroom to excrete the remains or waste in your body. This does work because we all are prone to keep food and waste stored in our body for extra pounds. And the fruits and vegetables that are in the diet are great for making this happen, so not everything in connection with the 3 day diet is a bunch of crap. This will happen for you.
Types of 3 Day Diet Systems
One of the great things about the 3 day diet is the number of variations that are available. You can really tailor the type of diet you want and need to your taste buds because there are so many to choose from. 3 Day Tuna Diet – That’s right, tuna. If you are a big fan or love the nutritional element that tuna brings to your weight loss goals, then this is the diet for you. It is not like you have to eat nothing but tuna, yet the variety in this diet is great.
3 Day Grapefruit Diet – Where are all my grapefruit lovers? We have a diet plan for you as well. I am one of those people that absolutely love grapefruit, so when I learned there was a diet centered around it I was all for it without any hesitations. This one here is more fruit based, but seems like it could be very effective if followed up with exercise.
3 Day Chemical Breakdown Diet – This is one of those diets that is based on causing chemical reactions in your body that is designed to help weight loss. This is also one of those diets that haven’t been proven.
