What is the 3 Day Chemical Breakdown Diet?

I am sure you have heard of the 3 Day Diet and maybe some of the variations of 3 day diets that are going around. These diets are seen by many to be fad diets and many professionals will warn you against taking them on due to the fact that they may be damaging if you are not in good health. So you need to consult a physician before going ahead with the 3 day chemical breakdown diet. But that could be said for all diets.

This diet basically is a 3 day low calorie diet that will help you either quick start a weight loss regime or can be used intermittently for quick spurts of weight loss. The Regime involves specific foods which are said to help your body start breaking down foods chemically to aid the loss of weight and get your body working right.

Do You Lose 3 Day Chemical Breakdown Diet?

Whether it’s chemical breakdown or simply the low calorie intake, it is absolutely possible that you will lose some and maybe a lot of weight on a 3 day diet. Unlike many other fad diets at least the food intake is healthy and if you drink plenty of fluids you should be able to get through it without too much trouble. Some people report losing up to 12lbs but that is likely very rare and you may rather see 1-2lbs going in the short time.   • You should make sure the food is healthy and you have no allergies to any non-substitutable ingredients.
  • You should mentally prepare yourself for being hungry and make sure you have access to regular fluid.
  • Be prepared to stop if the three day diet routine makes you feel at all unwell.

The 3 Day Chemical Breakdown Diet Plan

This diet is a solid plan that cannot be diverted from. The idea is that the food’s of this diet will start a chemical breakdown that will help once you return to normal healthy eating afterward. An increase in exercise is not needed but may not do any harm. Daily calorie intake is around 1500 calories. You may be used to around double that so it could be hard going.

Breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit or juice. 1 slice of toast with a tablespoon of butter or peanut butter. 1 cup Black tea or coffee.

Lunch: 1/2 cup of tuna (not in oil), 1 slice of dry toast or an ounce of cheddar cheese. 1 cup of black tea or coffee.

Dinner 3 ounces of lean meat (chicken or fish), 1 cup of boiled green beans, 1 cup cut or shredded carrots or beets, 1 small-medium apple, 1 cup vanilla ice cream.
